There are many tourist and cultural attractions in the surrounding area. Some can be reached by bike. Other attractions are a bit further away and require public transport, a hired car or a taxi. If we are available, we can function as taxi, up to 4 people per ride. We can make combination packages.
Adventure and Thrill Parks
Boating: Underground boat tour beneath the medieval town of ‘s Hertogenbosch, the capital city of the province of Brabant; day cruises from ‘s Hertogenbosch down the canals/rivers with a visit to one of several old Dutch towns.

City trips: The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam Harbours, Antwerp, ‘s Hertogenbosch.
Gardens: A tour of local gardens & parks (map provided, arrangements made in advance)

Museums: for example, the Van Abbe Museum of Modern Art in Eindhoven, the Maurits House Museum in The Hague, the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, our local art centre and art galleries, but also the carillon museum, the natural history museum, the museum of bakery, breweries, clog making, the DAF museum, the Dutch National War and Resistance museum, dolls and toys museum, cheese making museum, etc., etc.
Swimming: in- and outdoor pools, incl. subtropical aqua centres, sauna, etc.
Walking: guided walks such as Footsteps through Oirschot and the Jeroen Bosch walk in the town of ‘s-Hertogenbosch where the artist lived and worked. |
