TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Making a booking:

Once we have received an enquiry form from you we will check availability of the accommodation and any special requests. We will then email you to clarify details and options of the holiday break you are interested in. Once all parties are agreed, we will let you know what you will need to pay. At this point we can then tentatively hold the accommodation for you whilst you organise your flights and confirm that you require the reservation. Note that the accommodation is not reserved yet. Before you make a payment, you should contact us one more time to ensure that the accommodation is still available.

Deposit and balance payment

A deposit of 10% is required to secure each reservation. The balance is then due 60 days before the start date of the holiday. If you made your booking within 60 days of departure, the full balance is payable when booking. By making a deposit payment or a full payment, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions of booking.

How to pay

To make a deposit or balance payment you make an electronic bank transfer to our account in Holland. The bank transfer needs to correspond with the amount for the holiday in euros. Please check the amount with currency exchange rates on the day of sending. A new conversion will be made when your balance is due.

Booking confirmation

Once we have received your deposit or full balance payment we shall confirm back to you with all the information that you need for your holiday.

Cancellations

A cancellation can only be made in writing or email by the person who accepted the terms and conditions of booking.

If you cancel 60+ days prior to departure, and you have already paid the full amount, the full amount will be refunded.

Between 60 & 30 days before departure – 50% of the total holiday, excluding the deposit will be refunded.

Less than 30 days before departure no refund.

We recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you against having to cancel your holiday and loosing any money.

Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event of us having to cancel your holiday, all money will be refunded. However, we can not be held responsible if we have to cancel a holiday due to reasons beyond our control, e.g. war, acts of terrorism, flight interruptions, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, etc. In that case, we will seek a refund for you from our accommodation addresses, but it is then up to them to make the decision whether to make a full or partial refund.

Holiday insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate holiday and medical insurance for your holiday/short break. EU Residents should also carry a new European Health Card for emergency medical cover. (The old E111 is no longer valid.)

Visa and Passports

EU residents require a valid passport if they enter Holland by plane. No entry visa is required. Non-members of the EU should check with the Dutch Consulate for current entry requirements.

Complaints

If you have any reason for complaint you should notify us. If the problem cannot be rectified whilst you are in Holland, the complaint should be made in writing no later than 14 days after you have returned from your holiday.

Liability

All holidays are taken out at your own risk. We use reputable agents such as established accommodation residencies and bicycle hire companies, but we are not responsible for them and any liability issues that may arise are to be made with the agent concerned. We try to be as accurate as possible but we do not accept responsibility for any illness, loss, injury or inconvenience sustained by anyone as a result of the holiday/short break.

Bicycle hire

We are not responsible for any fines that may be made due to misuse of the bicycles.

Privacy

We only use your personal information for contacting you and making the appropriate reservations. We will never pass your personal details on to a third party.
